Eastern Landfill Cell Expansion
Technical project management of the Eastern Cell expansion at the Bonnick Road Waste Management Centre for Gympie Regional Council, extending the operational life of a critical regional waste asset.

Technical project management from design through construction
The Bonnick Road Waste Management Centre Eastern Cell Expansion was delivered to extend the operational life of the facility through a strategically planned and technically managed upgrade. RECOR provided technical project management services, supporting the project from design through to construction.
As technical project managers, the team identified and resolved constructability issues early to reduce risks and improve delivery outcomes. The continuity of the same project management team across all phases ensured consistency, efficiency, and strong coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk, procurement, and construction management under one team
Project management, procurement management, and construction management services were delivered with a strong focus on constructability, risk management, and stakeholder management. The team proactively identified and addressed design and construction risks, helping to streamline delivery and support successful project outcomes.
Waste management infrastructure operates under tight regulatory and community scrutiny. Construction management on an active landfill means coordinating the build with operations that cannot pause, and the team structured the works to respect that constraint throughout.
