Project management and engineering for sports, recreation and community facilities

RECOR delivers project management, structural engineering and superintendency for aquatic centres, athletics venues, showgrounds, and recreation infrastructure.

Engineering for sports and recreation assets

Sports and recreation facilities are community assets. They host major events, support daily community use, and need to perform reliably across decades of changing demand. RECOR provides project management, structural engineering, and superintendency services for aquatic centres, athletics venues, showgrounds, playgrounds, and recreation facility upgrades.

Our recent work includes the UQ St Lucia Athletics Stadium upgrade as Project Manager and Superintendent for The University of Queensland, the Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre major system upgrade, the Gympie Showgrounds and Pavilion upgrade under the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program, and the Hinterland Adventure Playground for Noosa Council.

A trusted partner

We are grateful to be trusted by industry leading construction, infrastructure and government clients.

Where we add value in sports and recreation

Community recreation assets carry expectations that go beyond the engineering brief. They host events, they appear in council budgets every term, and they sit in public view from the moment construction starts. Our role is to bring the technical governance and project discipline that gives councils and universities confidence the asset will be delivered to standard, on schedule, and ready for community use.

Our sports and recreation capabilities

Facilities that serve the community

Community recreation assets carry expectations that go beyond the engineering brief. They host events, they appear in council budgets every term, and they sit in public view from the moment construction starts. Our role is to bring the technical governance and project discipline that gives councils and universities confidence the asset will be delivered to standard, on schedule, and ready for community use.

At the UQ Athletics Stadium our combined engineering and Superintendent expertise gave the University strong technical governance throughout the stadium upgrades. At Gympie Showgrounds we delivered the full project lifecycle from scoping through to community handover. The pattern is the same across every recreation asset we touch.
