Track design coordination and certifier sign-off
Structural engineering that holds up to real loads
Buildings, bridges, and structures across Australia. We design structural systems that perform under load, satisfy code, and integrate cleanly with architecture and services.

Structural performance
Structural design that performs in the model, on paper, and in the steel and concrete that finally gets built.
Site-fit design
Code compliance
Multi-discipline fit
Structural engineering
with a builder mindset
We design structures the way builders actually erect them. Buildable connections, sensible tolerances, and drawings that don't need re-interpretation when the trade arrives on site.
Buildable connections
Detailing that fits the way steel gets fabricated and concrete gets poured, not idealised model geometry.
Certifier-ready output
Documentation that passes private and council certification with clean calculations and traceable assumptions.
Tolerances that work on site
Set-out and tolerances that account for real construction variation. Less site-cutting, fewer non-conformances.
From sketch through to certified structure
Structural engineering moves through concept sizing, detailed analysis, coordination with architecture and services, certification, and construction support. We stay on the project end to end so the structure built matches the structure designed.
Enquire nowA clear structural delivery approach
Four stages we run on every structural engineering project.
Concept sizing and scheme design
Set structural grids, member sizes, and overall stability strategy in step with architecture and brief.
Detailed analysis and modelling
Develop structural models, run analysis, size members, design connections, and coordinate with services and facade.
Certification and documentation
Issue stamped drawings, certification statements, and structural calculations to certifiers and tender markets.
Construction support and inspections
Respond to RFIs, review fabrication drawings, attend site for key inspections, and close out with as-built documentation.

Got questions? Let's clear them up
What does RECOR's structural engineering service cover?
Concrete and steel design for buildings, foundations, structural assessments of existing buildings, modifications and strengthening, and structural documentation across feasibility, design, and construction phases.
What Australian standards do you design to?
Primarily AS 3600 (concrete), AS 4100 (steel), AS/NZS 1170 (loading), AS/NZS 4671 (reinforcement), and AS 2870 (residential slabs). We also work to building code provisions and certifier requirements relevant to the project.
Can you certify your own designs?
Our designs come with calculations and structural certification statements. Final building certification is issued by an independent certifier who reviews our documentation. We make their job easier with clean, complete packages.
Do you work on existing buildings as well as new structures?
Yes. Existing structure assessments, modifications, strengthening, change-of-use reviews, and heritage structure work are a regular part of what we do.
Do you attend site during construction?
Yes. We respond to RFIs, review fabricator shop drawings, attend site for reinforcement and pre-pour inspections, and produce as-built documentation at completion.
